  • Efficient PCR Tubes

    Thursday, December 21, 2023
I have used the PCR tube strips for genotyping mouse tissues. I pipette out the required sample from master mix solution to each of the tubes. They come in a pack of 120 strips per box, are thin-walled, and are very easy, affordable, and efficient to use. Each strip has 8 tubes and samples can be ... read more
  • Great Product for Cytospin

    Monday, December 18, 2023
I used the white filter card from Simport Scientific for cytospin experiments with mouse bone marrow samples. BM pellets were diluted with 1%BSA in PBS, cells counted and fixed with methanol. After fixing, cells were washed, and 100ul of 1% BSA in PBS was aliquoted into wells and centrifuged for 1 ... read more
  • Great slides

    Thursday, December 07, 2023
I have used VWR microslides several times for staining and subsequent microscopy. They are easy to use and come in a box of 72 slides. These slides are 1mm thick, frosted on one side for easy labeling, and 25x 75 mm in size. read more
  • Excellent Product for Staining

    Tuesday, December 05, 2023
I used the H&E staining kit to stain mouse bone marrow cells. Mouse tibia and femurs were collected, and the marrow was flushed, cells were counted in the cell counter and a Cytospin experiment was performed. H&E staining was then performed on the slide and the image was taken in EVOS brightfield ... read more
  • Great Product for Quick Cell Counting

    Tuesday, June 20, 2023
Great product for easy counting of cells in the lab. Mix cells with the dye (Trypan Blue) 1:1 ratio and add 10ul of this to the slide. Insert the slide into the Countless 3 instrument, focus on the image and cell counts show up. read more
  • Awesome Product

Our lab has been using this benchtop pH meter for several years now. It is very efficient, easy to use and reliable. We use it quite often to make buffers and solutions for our various experiments. The electrode arm and probe holder make it easier to hold the probe into the samples. read more
  • Excellent Product

Used the BSA protein assay kit to quantify proteins in human platelet lysate samples comparing patients with heterozygous and homozygous GNE mutations and control samples. The incubation step involves a 30 min wait at 37°C. I ran the standards in triplicates and the patient samples in duplicates and... read more
  • Great Product for Lectin Array

    Tuesday, November 01, 2022
I used this product to look at the differences in lectins in the WT and NHD mouse models. NHD is a mouse model for myelodysplastic syndrome. It is useful in the studies of myelodysplastic syndrome and leukemias. The experimental procedure is easy and takes 1-2 hours on day 1 following which there is... read more
  • Great Product for ABO Array

    Wednesday, October 19, 2022
I used the blood group antigen array for human convalescent plasma samples. The arrays are easy to use, take 5 hours for an experiment and each slide can run 16 samples. The steps are easy to perform. read more
  • Very Efficient and Easy to Use

    Monday, June 20, 2022
I used the Desalting columns for my Lectin array experiment on human MDS samples, where I removed excess free-Cy3 dye with the Desalt spin columns. Make sure to pull off the bottom plug of the column and place it in a 2 ml tube. The columns are very efficient and easy to use. read more
