Versatile Imaging System for Gels and Blots

This imager can perform fluorescent and chemiluminescent imaging of protein/DNA gels, western blots, and many other applications. The autofocus and auto exposure performance is quick and accurate, and there are several types of sample trays you can install depending on what you want to image. I like this system because only one machine is needed to cover multiple applications. One limitation is there is sometimes interference with the imaging if excess water or substrate pools around the gel or blot you are imaging, so I dry the excess with a paper towel and it usually works fine.
