Excellent Performance, Consumables Are a Bit Expensive

Excellent sonicator for chromatin fragmentation before ChIP experiments. The temperature controlled water bath and the focused sonication system are perfect to maintain the samples at constant temperature and deliver a smaller amount of energy to achieve correct fragmentation compared with other sonicators. Some optimisation is required for each cell type/protocol and the dedicated glass vessels are bit expensive, but it is worth the price. Very solid machine as well: we got a refurbished one to contain the costs, but we never had any problem after many years of routine use.
