Excellent Protein Detection System for Western Blot

Odyssey CLx is based on an infrared-based method to detect proteins for western blot. It detects 2 wavelengths simultaneously (700 and 800 nm excitation wavelength), which gives an added advantage of detecting two targets on the same membrane at the same time. The instrument is easy to use, very sensitive and gives the added advantage to detect two targets at the same time. The signals of the infrared fluorescent detections are stable. However, it requires reagents specific to Licor, ie, Odyssey blocking solution, and secondary antibody conjugated with fluorophore from Licor for the detection.
