Blood storage refrigerators are designed to store and maintain 450 ml bags of whole blood at 4°C, while its surveillance system monitors chamber conditions, past and present. Upper and lower chamber temperatures are simultaneously displayed with digital readouts, and a seven day chart recorder with battery back-up creates a permanent temperature record of stored liquid conditions. The audible and visible hi-low alarm with battery back-up and optional phone relay sound the alert whenever alarm conditions occur.
Available in 3 sizes, blood storage refrigerators have stainless steel interior/exterior construction, with removable solid-bottomed stainless steel drawers. Each has self-closing glass door(s), highest quality thermostatic control for temperature reliability, and a temperature range of 1-10°C, ± 1°C at the sensor (in liquid).
