Bruker CAM to Showcase Award Winning EVOQ, SCION and PACER Technology at North American Chemical Residue Workshop 2013

Tuesday 16 July 2013: Bruker Chemical and Applied Markets (CAM), Fremont, California, US: Bruker CAM division will showcase their award winning triple quadrupole technology at North American Chemical Residue Workshop (NACRW) 2013, July 21-24, Florida. On booth 32, they will exhibit the EVOQ Qube liquid chromatography mass spectrometer (LC-MS), winner of this year's Laboratory Equipment Readers' Choice Award. The EVOQ will be joined by the double-award winning SCION 436 triple quadrupole gas chromatograph (GC-TQ). The Bruker experts will host a breakfast seminar on PACER software, the revolutionary exception-based data review system for EVOQ, which has also been recognized this year with a Laboratory Equipment Award. Moreover, three posters exploring the applications of Bruker technology in residue detection will be displayed during the conference. Read more here http://bit.ly/BCA465

EVOQ LC-MS is designed to reliably quantify thousands of samples in the fastest sample-to-report time possible. Bruker has introduced several innovative components, including the Vacuum Insulated Probe-HESI to protect thermally fragile compounds for maximum sensitivity and the Active Exhaust which reduces chemical noise and maintenance. During NACRW, Jim Edwards will present a breakfast seminar on EVOQ's PACER software. The seminar will take place on Wednesday 24 July at 07:15 in room V-7, entitled "Faster Data-to-Report with Reduced Errors and Greater Data Integrity via Exception Based Reporting and Data Software."

SCION 436-GC combines high sensitivity with ultimate ease of use, and the success of advances including its novel lens-free design, compound based scanning (CBS) system and space saving format were recognized with the Pittcon Silver Editors' Award in 2012.The Bruker experts have also taken steps to address current gas price issues with their Helium-Free scheme; customers are now able to use hydrogen as the carrier gas on the SCION without loss of performance. Both EVOQ and SCION will be displayed on booth 32.

Bruker CAM Marketing Director Meredith Conoley said, "We want to take advantage of NACRW to demonstrate the benefits that the sustained high performance of the EVOQ and SCION deliver in chemical residue applications. The essential components of the EVOQ were designed to deliver maximum sensitivity and robustness, while the advantages of SCION's novel lens-free design and compound based scanning system (CBS) are now complimented by the choice of hydrogen or helium carrier gas. We hope to meet as many people as possible, in our seminar, poster sessions and on our exhibition booth."
